To work on the ongoing Disruptive Technology Innovation project and assist in meeting the project objectives & deliverables.
To assist in the development & fabrication of Additive Manufacturing components and other Engineering solutions for wide ranging sectors

Salary: €33,967 – €45,942 in accordance with IUA Researcher Salary Scale

Responsibilities/Duties
- To assist in the development, fabrication and post processing of materials of Additive Manufacturing
- To assist in characterising the 3D printed parts in terms of their mechanical, thermal and chemical properties.
- Support SEAM staff in Failure Analysis work and writing proposals for various funding agencies
- Support SEAM Centre Director in growing the centre’s business activities
Principal Accountabilities:
- Hands on experimental work and critical analysis of the results
- Writing project reports for stakeholders
- Embracing SEAM’s ISO 9001: 2015 work culture
